Golden Star Resources consents to La Mancha acquiring additional shares

Golden Star Resources Ltd. (“Golden Star” or the “Company”) announces that La Mancha Holding S.àr.l. (“La Mancha”) has requested its consent to La Mancha acquiring up to an additional 5% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company through ordinary market or block trade purchases.
